Our ideal candidate will be able to work 20 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days) during term time and 10 hours per week during the school holidays, although we are open to the possibility of a job-share.

Interviews will take place during the week beginning 12th June, with the successful candidate starting as soon as possible after that.  The deadline for applications will be Thursday 1st June.

Welcome to STEPS Church of England Pre-School

We are a sessional pre-school offering quality care and education for children age 2 years to school age and are run as part of St Stephen’s Church in South Tonbridge.

Believing that children learn best through play, we aim to foster the development of early skills through a broad, balanced and relevant programme of pre-school activities. As all children are unique and develop at different rates we provide activities to suit the needs of each child. Our team of staff are experienced, qualified and committed.

We exist to serve the community by providing a safe environment, where each child is loved and accepted within a Christian ethos. Every child, irrespective of background, will be nurtured emotionally, intellectually, physically and spiritually so that they may achieve their full potential. To honour God, we will strive to be the best that we can be.
